In this workshop Dr. Jean will demonstrate how to apply reading research through songs, movement, and hands-on activities. You'll learn simple and practical ideas for developing phonemic awareness, alphabet knowledge, word recognition, and fluency. Ideas for literacy centers and books children will want to make and read will also be presented.

All workshops scheduled from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Coffee and Danish provided. Lunch on your own. Workshop certificates for 6 hours.
